Motor Home and Campervan Hire Excess Insurance

 

 When renting a vehicle from us you must take out an  "Motorhome Hire Excess Cover Insurance " which reimburses part or all of your deposit/excess should the motorhome get damaged or involved in a road traffic accident whilst on hire to you, it should also include, (but not limited to) internal damage, overhead damage as wells as windscreens, tyres etc.  You are free to use any excess hire insurance company you prefer, but many of our rental customers have used either RentalCover.com ,  iCar Hire Insurance .

 

Please Note : If you live in New Zealand or Australia you may be able to purchase your excess cover from RentalCover.com. (This is subject to change at anytime) 


You are free to use whoever you wish for this insurance excess cover.

 

All of the below Insurance companies have been providing vehicle hire excess insurance to its clients for many years. They pride themselves on great customer service (take a look at their Feefo reviews).  They are there with you every step of the way including help if you have a claim. 

 

Buying from either Rental Cover .com and iCar Hire Insurance  will also save you money and provide a wide range of cover and benefits compared to buying the excess waiver offered by some motorhome and campervan hire companies.

 

PLEASE PURCHASE EXCESS COVER   IN-ADVANCE    BEFORE YOU COME TO COLLECT YOUR CAMPERVAN OR MOTOR HOME FROM US.   SOME COMPANIES WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO PURCHASE THIS COVER WITHIN 48 HOURS OF COLLECTING THE VEHICLE.  IT CAN SOMETIMES BE MORE CHEAPER WHEN BY WEEKS or MONTHS IN ADVANCE.

 

Wests Motorhome Hire UK do not sell this excess cover,  you will need to purchase it from a third party company, we have listed a couple of excess companies below to assist you with purchasing your excess insurance.

 

Please ensure you read the terms and conditions to ensure the excess provider can provide you with excess cover and service you require.  The excess cover insurance MUST be purchased in advance NOT on the day of collection.   The insurance policy will not cover any rental that has already commenced.  Immediately check your cover documents to ensure they are correct.
